Biography
Communications strategist, business executive, journalist, and award-winning author Denrique Preudhomme delivers writing to appeal to a variety of readers. Denrique specializes in travel & lifestyle, business, society & politics, entertainment, and sales & marketing writing.
With over 20 years of professional writing experience, Denrique has assisted companies with various writing projects such as business proposals, communication plans, strategic messaging, business development lifecycle plans, EB-5 Investor business plans, and press releases. She has in-depth knowledge of State and Federal government contracting and procurement, and experience guiding bid strategies for contract awards with values up to $5 billion. She has also performed internal and external reviews of academic programs for universities and colleges to assess program strengths and weaknesses and offered recommendations.
Denrique is the author of "The Undisguised Truth," a book of thought-provoking social and political articles; "Stranger Than Fiction," a book of riveting short fiction; and "Reflections of Realism," a book of moving poems. She is the recipient of the Urban Spectrum Newspaper's National Writers Award for Best Collection of Short Fiction and is profiled in Marquis Who's Who in America®. She is currently writing a thriller titled "Deception is Reality."
Denrique is a foreign scholar in the field of the Creative Arts, a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Honor Society of Phi Kapper Phi, the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Certified Professional Writers Association. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland.
An avid reader and excellent scrabble player, Denrique divides her time between New York City and Washington, DC. She enjoys traveling, photography, ballet (she is professionally trained in ballet and modern dance), reading Forbes Magazine, and watching ABC's "The View" in her spare time.
